Jills veranda – season 3
During spring, Jill is in Nashville and records a third season of the popular SVT series Jill’s Veranda, Nashville, which is broadcast on SVT1 in November while also the music from the show Jill’s Veranda (The Live Music From Season 3) is released.
Rodeo
In August, the EP “Rodeo” is released and Jills goes on tour with her band, celebrating 10 years together with 10 gigs around Sweden.
That’s Life
Jill spends the later part of the autumn at The Theatre in Gothenburg with the show That’s Life. The show was rewarded with highest scores, including 5 Plus from Aftonbladet with quotes like “Jill Johnson glitters in a magnificent show”.
Christmas Island
In November, the Christmas album “Christmas Island” is released.

Jill makes her own Christmas show on the newly built country arena Bökeberg in Skåne during November-December.
Heartbreak Hotel
Jill plays herself in the feature film Heartbreak Hotel directed by Colin Nutley, in conjunction with that the EP with the same name is released.
Rocktåget
In the summer of 2006 she went on Rocktåget tour together with Tomas Ledin and Andreas Johnson.

In December, the Christmas album, “The Christmas In You”, is released. It’s recorded with musicians in Nashville and on the album you’ll find both newly written Christmas songs as well as Jill’s own favourites.
The Making Of Roots And Wings
During the trip and the recording of the album “Roots And Wings”, a film team is documenting and the result of it became a documentary about Jill, , broadcast on TV4. During the winter, the DVD was released., “The Making Of Roots and Wings”.
Tour
In April and May 2004, Jill goes on unplugged tour “Roots and Wings” in a concert halls around Sweden, and in the summer she participates in a nationwide tour with Rhapsody In Rock.
Last Thing On My Mind
That same year, she also records the single “Last Thing On My Mind” in a duet with Ronan Keating.
Oh, what a lovely day
She gets a hit with Ted Gärdestad’s song “Oh, what a lovely day,” Jill’s version is then used in Pripps Blå’s advertisement.
Home On The Range
Jill also find the time to record the Swedish-language version of the songs “Little Patch Of Heaven” (Mitt paradis på jorden) and Will The Sun Ever Shine Again? (Ska det nånsin blir sol igen?). They were featured in the Disney movie Home On The Range.
Crazy In Love
Jill participates in TV show Melodifestivalen with the song “Crazy In Love” and finishes fourth in the final in the Globe Arena.
Discography
In April the same year, the collection “Discography” is released with 20 of her most wanted songs since the debut in 1996. The album sold Gold in a couple of months and also gave her a Grammis!
A Crazy In Love Tour
During the summer, Jill went on the tour “A Crazy In Love Tour”, which attracted a lot of people and received great reviews.
Good Girl
Jill travels to Nashville and records the album ”Good Girl”.
Promise To Love Me
The same year Jill receives a Platinum record in Denmark for the soundtrack album “Promise to Love Me”, for the Danish movie “Den eneste ene”.

Jill’s third album ”Daughter Of Eve” is released in November.

The duet ”I’ll Be There” which Jill does together with American artist Michael Ruff is released.

Kärleken är
This was the year of Jill’s great breakthrough through the win in the TV show Melodifestivalen with “Kärleken är”, a song that placed her in 10th place in the Eurovision Song Contest.

In May, Jill’s second album is released, which was in Swedish and was titled “När hela världen ser på”.
Sugartree
Jill Johnson’s debut album ”Sugartree” is released via Danish EMI. The title track became a hit in Denmark and the album went to #1 on the Danish album chart.
Kommer tid, kommer vår
The same year she records the song “Kommer tid, kommer vår” together with Jan Johansen, it became a major radio hit in Sweden. The two of them also went on a Summer tour that year.
Solo debut
Debuts at a country gala in Denmark.
Tomboola band
Starts as singer in the country group Tomboola Band, who toured in Denmark and Norway.
